Dr. Brad Oliver, Dr. Douglas Clark, and Dr. Robert Townsend toured the new Senior Academy at Brownsburg High School on Friday, December 4th.  SoEL adjunct faculty member and Brownsburg central office administrator, Mary Michelson, invited IWU representatives to meet students, teachers, and administrators who have embarked upon a transformative approach to infusing the senior year of high school with engaging and relevant learning for the 21st century.  Visiting administrators from IWU’s SoEL also had the opportunity to tour the Project Lead the Way program at Brownsburg High School.  Brownsburg Community Schools is to be commended for the manner in which they have successfully integrated instructional technologies and project-based learning.

Associate Dean, School of Educational LeadershipWelcome to the official blog site for the IWU School of Educational Leadership.  As part of Indiana Wesleyan University’s College of Adult and Professional Studies, our mission is to offer a Christ-centered academic environment for adult learners who aspire to be effective teachers and school leaders. Through a rigorous and relevant curriculum, we are committed to creating world changers who excel in character, scholarship, and leadership.  As Associate Dean, I hope this blog will help our faculty, staff, students, alumni, and P-12 school partners stay abreast of our efforts to offer premiere education programs and to showcase the world-changing activities of our faculty, students, and alumni.  We look forward to sharing with you the many wonderful stories of how God is using the School of Educational Leadership to make a difference in the lives of children and schools.
